The Company produces high-quality Day-Old Chicks and Point of Cage Pullets. Over the years, we have remained focused on our main objective to produce high quality chicks, in a highly hygienic environment leveraging innovative solutions grounded in Research and Development.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Location: Oyo

Job Responsibilities
Procurement:

Identify suppliers, solicit bids, and negotiate contracts for goods and services.
Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels and monitor stock levels to meet demand.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
Coordinate with other departments to forecast inventory needs accurately.

Logistics and Distribution:

Plan and optimize distribution routes to minimize transportation costs and ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with carriers, customs, and freight forwarders to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Evaluate supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times and quality.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that products meet established quality standards.
Address and resolve quality-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Cost Control:

Analyze supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
Manage and report on budgetary considerations related to supply chain activities.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities.
Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.

Qualification

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree.
