We are recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:
1.) Contract Farming Officer
Job Location: Edo
Job Type: Contract
Job Description
- As Contract Farming Officer, you will be responsible for the communications and promotion of our contract farming programs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote our contract farming program with NGOs, Farmers Cooperatives, local government authorities, etc.
- Promote our contract farming program on our website and social media platforms.
- Coordinate with the agricultural team on crop monitoring and quality checking with the contract farmers
- Coordinate with the agricultural team on training to contract farmers
- Coordinate with the agricultural team and the logistics team on the transport of harvested crops to our processing site
- Actively engage with potential and existing contract farmers.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to educate farmers about the benefits and requirements of the contract farming program.
- Foster positive relationships with the local community and relevant stakeholders
- Gather feedback from contract farmers regarding their experiences with the program.
- Use this feedback to improve program efficiency and farmer satisfaction.
- Oversee the signing and management of contracts with farmers.
- Ensure that contract terms and conditions are clearly communicated and understood by both parties.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contract farmers, including their contact information, acreage, and crop types.
- Regularly update and manage the contract farmer database.
- Generate regular reports on program performance, including farmer engagement, crop quality, and compliance.
- Participate in community development initiatives that align with the organization's goals.
Job Requirements
A suitable candidate must possess:
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Agricultural Economics, Agro-Business Management / Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 3 years of proven cognate experience
- Deep knowledge of agricultural supply management
- Outstanding (written and spoken) communication ability
- Excellent organizational and contract management skills
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of quality standards and agricultural-related trends
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Hands on marketing, sales, procurement and negotiation experience
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.

2.) Junior Agronomist
Job Location: Edo
Job Description
- As Junior Agronomist, you will be under direct supervision of the Head of Unit 2
- You will monitor the quality of crops under cultivation.
- You will provide daily problem-solving on the field under the supervision of your manager.
- You will supervise the work of our field workers.
- You will work on the missions assigned by your manager.
Job Requirements
A suitable candidate must possess:
- B.Sc / HND in Agronomy, Agriculture, Biotechnology or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven cognate experience
- Exceptional active listening and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research, decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outside, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.
- Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office and diagnostic scientific software.
- Awareness of industry trends, technology, and developments.
- Research and presentation skills.

3.) Production Manager
Job Location: Edo
Job Description
As Production Manager, you will:
- Supervise the production and packaging of dried cassava chips.
- Supervise the packaging of soybean grain and sorghum grain.
- Supervise the production and packaging of organic cassava leaves powder.
- Supervise the production and packaging of soy butter (small scale as sample for international buyers)
- Packaging of above products for the local and export markets
- Supervise the production and packaging of cocoa butter (small scale as sample for international buyers)
- Supervise the packaging of value-added products cultivated under greenhouses or special conditions.
Job Requirements
A suitable candidate must possess;
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc/HND in Engineering (preferably Production, Agricultural, Mechanical), Operations Management, Food Technology
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as production process management
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Attention to detail
- Hands on technical experience in production facilities
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
