POSITION: HEALTH SECRETARY
OVERVIEW/BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
The Health Secretary heads the CSN Health Unit and serves as the Secretary of the Health Committee of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN). Specific
RESPONSIBILITY:
To develop and foster the implementation of the Nigerian Catholic Health Policy, Promote the Church healing mission by facilitating training of Catholic Health Services personnel and upholding standards of care in Catholic health institutions.
OVERVIEW/BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
A medical practitioner, preferably with postgraduate training in public health, health systems management health policy, healthcare economics/financing. At least experience working in the area of healthcare management at a senior level. Experience working within the Catholic Healthcare systems is highly desirable Solid Faith and moral integrity with basic understanding of the Catholic Social Teaching.
POSITION: FAMILY AND HUMAN LIFE SECRETARY
OVERVIEW/BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
The Family and Human Life Secretary heads CSN Family & Human life Unit serves as the secretary of the FHL Committee of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBNCN).
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
To act as a liaison person between the provincial and Diocesan coordinators of FHL and the CNS (CBCN). Maintain links between the Church and Federal government, national and international agencies in matters Reproductive Health, Life and Family
OVERVIEW/BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
A Bio Ethics graduate or/and a medical practitioner, preferably with postgraduate training in health system management. At least 3 years experience working in the area of social development or healthcare management at a senior level. Experience working within the Catholic Pro-Life systems is highly desirable
