We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights.
  • This role involves a balance of data analytics, data wrangling, and a deep understanding of various data analytics tools.
  • The ideal candidate will be an analytical problem solver, capable of interpreting complex data and translating it into strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Power BI for advanced data visualization and analytics.
  • Connect Power BI with various data sources such as SQL, Azure, and other cloud services to ensure seamless data integration
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) for data processing and analytics.
  • Show a proven ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain a strong data analytics portfolio, showcasing a range of skills and projects.
  • Demonstrate intermediate data analytics skills, including data cleaning and wrangling, using tools such as Excel and Python.
  • Conduct data analytics using SQL, extracting and interpreting data from various sources.
  • Apply Python programming for a range of data analytics tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analytics, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Python, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
