We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Supply Chain

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About The Role

The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end Supply Chain processes within CHI Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
This includes planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Supply Chain products.

Duties & Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning:

Develop and implement strategic Supply Chain plans to meet business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
Ensure the availability of Supply Chain products while minimizing excess inventory.

Procurement:

Source and negotiate contracts with Supply Chain manufacturers and suppliers.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sources of Supply Chain products.
Monitor market trends and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Supply Chain distribution.
Implement quality control processes to guarantee the integrity of Supply Chain products.
Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to address compliance issues.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with Supply Chain manufacturers and suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement strategies.

Logistics Management:

Oversee the transportation and distribution of Supply Chain products.
Optimize transportation routes and modes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and secure deliveries.

Inventory Management:

Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
Monitor inventory levels and adjust reorder points to meet demand fluctuations.
Implement efficient tracking systems to manage and trace Supply Chain products.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments such as Sales and Finance to align Supply Chain strategies with overall business objectives.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address Supply Chain issues.

Education / Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using Supply Chain management software and tools.
Excellent organizational and Project Management Skills.
Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong knowledge of Supply Chain regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
