Job Title: Carrier Sales Partner
Division:Enterprise Solutions
Location: Lagos
Reporting To: Strategic Accounts Manager Carrier Sale
Job Description:
- Build an indepth knowledge of the customers’ operating environment, business drivers, ambition, issues, problems and obstacles in order to develop and implement solutions to meet their strategic corporate needs.
- Seek new clients and create more business opportunities daily, from existing clients so as to Increase company revenue.
- Maintain excellent partnership,relationships with customers, based on trust and an indepth understanding of the customers’ business.
- Increase MTN market share by achieving set target through the acquisition of new accounts as well as development and maintenance of current accounts
- Assist customers in understanding the value proposition and differentiations of MTN data product and service offerings.
- Account for the fulfillment of the sales process from lead generation to bill delivery.
- Log all customer requests for service, queries and complaints, escalate and troubleshoot where necessary.
- Carry out continuous analysis of relevant industries, to identify new prospects or opportunities for the corporate sales department.
- Prepare and present all corporate sales weekly and monthly reports, contractual documentation and status reports according to MTN quality standards.
- Effectively maintain the required multi-lateral relationships with customers thereby ensuring continued loyalty and support.
- Conduct research on potential customers and their disposable income using the data mining system.
- Forward planning for the organization in terms of service demand, operational roll out, capacity take up and working capital
Job Conditions:
- Normal MTNN working conditions
- May be required to work extended hours
- Tool of Trade Vehicle will be required for the Job
Required Skills:
- First degree in Business Administration, Commerce or any other related discipline
- Must exhibit professional presentation skills and persuasive communications skills
- Knowledge of functions & operations of the telecommunications industry.
- Must demonstrate use of consultative selling and closure of complex sales either directly or through 3rd party partnerships
- Exposure to strategic planning
- 4 years work experience
- Experience in the sales environment of a telecommunications company, preferably customer facing
- Selling at ‘C’ Level within the telecoms environment
- Must have proven experience of high level, high networth negotiations
- Experience in sale of wholesale and international capacity
- Must have demonstrable track record of sales and revenue growth within the telecoms industry
