Arik Air is a wholly-owned Nigerian airline with a commitment to the people of Nigeria to deliver new standards in aviation. It operates mainly from two hubs at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Arik Air is recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Accountants

For the following units:

1.) Engineering division
2.) Budget unit

3.) Revenue unit
4.) Management Accounts unit


Job Specifications:


Engineering division

  •     Prepare regular reports on technical services and other cost estimations
  •     Supply Chain management accounting
  •     Provide support for Technical stores


Budget unit

  •     Provide support for budget preparation Monitor and report on budget variances & performance
  •     Prepare regular budgetary control reports

 

Revenue unit

  •     Participate in the implementation program of RAPID, from kick off to go live.
  •     Liaise with other stakeholders in the implementation and post implementation phases
  •     Interface with the service provider (RAPID Agent)


Management Accounts unit

  •     Prepare regular reports on route costing and profitability
  •     Prepare monthly report and analysis on returns on investment.
  •     Provide support for budget and forecasts preparation


Requirements:

  •     At least a first degree in Finance
  •     Good knowledge of Microsoft tools, ERP and Revenue accounting systems
  •     Ability to work well under pressure
  •     Chartered Accountant, member of ICAN, ACCA etc
  •     Over 5 years professional experience in aviation or allied sector.
  •     Good technical knowledge and skills Presentation and reporting skills
