Wire-Teks International Company Limited is a Nigerian based company  with specialist interest in the field of Energy, Engineering, Environmental, Transportation and Logistics Services. The company also engages in the procurement and supply of electrical, technical, and/or products related to the above field in order to meet the needs of our esteem clients and prospective customers both in Rivers State, Nigeria in general and West African at Large.

Wire-Teks is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Construction Engineer

Location: Rivers

Qualification:

  •     Minimum of Bsc / B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent


Experience:

  •     Minimum of 5 years in Oil and Gas surface facilites as a Piping, Mechanical, Construction or Project Engineer.

 

Requirements

  • Acquaitance with international standards: API, ASTM, ASME, BS, ISO.
  • Good knowledge in technical - commercial aspects of tendering and contracting
  • Good knowledge in technical - commercial aspects of tendering and contracting
  • Ability to supervise site installation works and review all as built documents.
  • Good knowledge of inspection and control dimension of structure steel, piping, equipment and supports during fabrication.
  • Good knowledge of QA/QC documentation and HSE - work permit system, risk assessment, incident analysis etc
  • Ability to implement schedule, execute, projectprocedure and ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and comply with quality standard in accordance with the project schedules.
  • Experience in follow-up of material procurement and preparing construction cost estimates for projects.
