We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

The Financial Controller will oversee the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting. He will ensure compliance with regulations, manage financial risks, and implement internal controls. Additionally, He provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities

Provide and interpret financial information
Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends
Analyze change and advise accordingly
Formulate strategic and long-term business plans
Research and report on factors influencing business performance
Analyze competitors and market trends
Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue
Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
Manage budgets
Arrange new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities
Supervise staff
Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Provide HR Managerial oversight and supervisory roles
Perform and manage all administrative support functions to the business
Ensure all activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care
Perform oversight and manage all logistics and order placement
Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
MBA in Finance or Accounting
Gender: Preferably Male
8+ years of work experience in Finance and Accounting
Candidate must be adept in Financial & Accounting Software
Candidate must possess Financial Management skill
Candidate must be adept in Financial Analysis
Budgeting and forecasting skill is a must have
Candidate must possess business Acumen
Candidate must possess strong Project Management Skill
