The West African Examinations Council is West Africa's foremost examining board established by law to determine the examinations required in the public interest in the English-speaking West African countries, to conduct the examinations and to award certificates comparable to those of equivalent examining authorities internationally.

We are currently recruiting for the position of:

Job Title: EXAMINATIONS OFFICER (ACCOUNTS)

Job Ref No.: A095

Job Qualification

  • Applicants must possess five (5) credits in SSCE/WASSCE including English Language and Mathematics at a sitting or six (6) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language and Mathematics.


Job Requirement

  • Possession of First Degree or HND in Accounting from any recognized Institution and NYSC discharge certificate.
  • Possession of relevant professional qualification would be an added advantage.
  • Applicants must not be above 35 years. Computer literacy would be required.


Job Location

  • Northern States in Nigeria, Bayelsa, Benue and Ebonyi State
