Global Profilers - Our Client, an Agricultural company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cooling Truck Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical and Electrical

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The responsibilities of the cooling truck supervisor include coordinating the timing and delivery of products to wholesale trucks and trailers.
  • Work with branches and other customers to ensure the best quality from the cooler.
  • Supervise and manage the daily work of department teammates; create and maintain schedules and job assignments.
  • Cover vacations/early load-outs when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Keep records, monitoring drivers, daily logs for errors or violations, and their working hours and truck availability.
  • Supervise drivers’ performance, allocate driver assignments, and ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain all trucks in top working order.
  • Ensure that all Trucks comply with all legal, regulatory and contractual requirements, and where necessary escalate any identified issues and recommend a resolution to the management.
  • Train drivers in department policies and procedures, and maintain drivers’ conduct.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers and address complaints.
  • Schedule drivers and assigns routes to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure all documentation is processed and complete before take-off and during off-loading.
  • Ability to maintain Cooling Truck Mechanically and Electrically

Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a BSC / HND in any related field.
  • Must have experience in maintaining Cooling Trucks mechanically and Electrically
  • 1-3 years of working experience preferably in logistics, supply chain management or transportation.
