Aba Power Limited a reputable and indigenous distribution licensee and the lessee for the Aba ring- fenced distribution zone in Abia State, Nigeria seeks highly organised and self-motivated professionals for the under-listed vacant positions in its subsidiary company, APL Electric (APLE), APLE will operate and maintain the electricity distribution ring-fence in Aba upon commissioning of the Aba Integrated Power project Aba IPP

Job Title: Protection Control and Metering (PC&M)

Responsibilities
    The PC&M Engineer shall be responsible for installation, operation, and repair of all substation metering equipment, current and potential transformers, relays, reclosers and other protection devices, as well as recording and data monitoring devices

Requirements

  •     BSc. in electrical engineering or its equivalent
  •     Minimum of five years of experience in substation device installation, repair and maintenance, including repair/replacement of relays, reclosers, current and potential transformers, meters, and communications equipment.
