Job Title: Program Associate (Nigeria-based)

Job Description
- We are seeking a Program Associate to join Reboot’s growing team.
- The role will represent Reboot and support our work with local partners in Rivers State.
- This will include coordination, outreach, and communications to subcontractors and grantees in civil society and broadcast media.
- The role also involves managing Reboot’s operations in Rivers.
- The Program Associate reports to Reboot’s Program Designer.
Job Responsibilities
The Program Associate role includes a mix of programmatic and operational responsibilities. Specifically:
- Support for Partner Relationship Management:
- Assist in convening and facilitating partner meetings, and support the development of project proposals, workplans, and budgets.
- Assist with capacity building support delivered for partners.
- Participate in program planning and reporting along with other Reboot staff.
Other Programmatic Involvement
- Support other aspects of Reboot’s work in the Niger Delta, including research projects, data collection, and reporting.
- Contribute to deliverables, proposals, and program plans.
Operational Management
- Coordinate logistics and procurement to meet programmatic needs in Rivers.
- Other duties which may be assigned as Reboot grows and its portfolio expands, the exact definition of responsibilities may shift over time.
Required Qualifications and Compitencies:
- University degree in relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Computer proficiency (especially MS Office and Google apps) required.
- At least two years of relevant experience in development, government, advocacy, NGOs, consulting, media, or other field.
- Prior experience working in the Niger Delta region.
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas preferred: social accountability, open government, public financial management, human-centered design, ICT4D, and mixed-methods research.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Nigerian Pidgin and other local languages preferred.
- Above all, we are looking for someone who can effectively manage partner relationships, provide necessary support, and work independently.
