Golden Penny Rice Ltd, a subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, requires the services of professionals to join its world class rice milling team.
POSITION: RICE MILL MANAGER (REF:RMM 11)
THE JOB:
Reports to the Executive Director – Rice. Ensures safe operation of the rice mill; controls all aspects for rice transfer, handling, milling, bulk storage and packing; manages stock control & reconciliation and ensures optimal use of machines for quality rice production; identifies training needs and develops training plans for the rice milling team; ensures compliance with health & safety standards.
QUALIFICATION:
BSC/HND in Engineering
5 O’ level credits inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
THE PERSON:
Proactive, self motivated, target driven with good team leadership and strong communication skills. The successful candidate must have basic understanding of rice milling process and production management skills acquired within or outside Nigeria.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 10 years working experience in an automated fast moving and continuous (24/7) production environment. Computer literacy with experience in using PLC operating system is also necessary.
POSITION: RICE MILLER (REF: RCM 11)
THE JOB:
Reports to the Rice Mill Manager. Plans, coordinates and controls rice milling processes. Draws up production and maintenance schedules; monitors product standards; ensures timely, quality and cost effective production.
QUALIFICATION:
BSC/HND in Engineering
5 O’ level credits inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
THE PERSON:
The successful candidates must be a team player, proactive, organized with good communication and analytical skill. He must have an understanding of rice milling processes.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years working experience in an automated fast moving and continuous (24/7) production environment. Computer literacy with experience in using PLC operating system is also necessary.
