A reputable non-governmental environmental organization dedicated to biodiversity conservation and sustainable natural resources use is seeking for a proactive, focused, intelligent, resourceful and a professional candidates to fill the positions of:

A.) Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • Msc in Natural sciences;
  • Proven track record in successfully developing. leading and managing projects in the field of conservation or natural resource management;
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a project management with strong skills in project planning, proposal writing, project implementation and evaluation;
  • A working knowledge of financial management, especially of projects;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;
  • Skills in negotiation, liaison, and in relationship and conflict management.


B.) Wildlife Officers

Qualifications:

  • BSc, HND and OND in wildlife forestry or natural sciences;
  • 2 years working experience in protected area;
  • Experience in writing scientific papers, technical documents and proposal
  • Good oral and writing skill.
  • Good knowledge of names and uses of plants and animals;
  • Physically fit, mentally sound, good team player:


Scope of work

  • The work scope may require occasional field travel
  • Periodic need for extended work hours


Remuneration, terms and condition

  • Negotiable but quite attractive
