We have vacancies in the following areas for qualified professionals:
Job Title: Site Engineer
Responsibilities
- To control and manage the site engineering department
- Take ownership of the responsibility to ensure the correct design, inclusive of change is followed.
- To ensure the construction project follows the required design, using the correct materials, to the required quality in a safe manner.
- To ensure all design and material changes are correctly incorporated into the construction project.
- Oversee the day to day running of the site
- Representing the Company towards the client and consultants on site, inclusive of attendance of site meetings, with regard to the technical operations
- To assist the Head of Project in the control of change orders
Requirements
- A good first degree in Building/Civil Engineering or equivalent from a reputable University or Polytechnic.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and work quickly with minimal direction
- A minimum of 5 years cognate experience in similar position is desired.
- Must be able to interpret structural drawings with precision
- Must have eyes for details and not be prone to errors
- Excellent leadership, negotiating and influencing skills
