Pact Nigeria is currently expanding its program portfolio and seeks highly experienced and qualified candidates to fill the open position on a demand creation and systems strengthening for effective coordination project in Benue and Kebbi state.

Pact Nigeria seeks candidates to fill position of:

Job Position: Finance and Grants Assistant

Job Location: Kebbi and Benue

Job Description:

  • The Finance and Grants Assistant will support the finance and grants unit in all areas of Finance, Grants and Administration at the Field Office.
  • The job holder will manage petty cash for the project, tracking of reports submission from Sub-Awardees; support the finance unit in reviewing Partners monthly financial reports.
  • The job holder will capture Invoices, partners advances and liquidations in Microsoft Dynamics Navigator; capturing of deposits into Pact accounts using cash receipt journal in Microsoft Dynamics Navigator.
  • The job holder will support regular Sub Grants Financial Monitoring as well as preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation.


Qualifications

  • B.SC/HND in Accounting. Partly qualified ACCA or ICAN.
  • At least one year experience working in an international NGO or Chartered Accounting Firm.
  • Highly IT literate, Advanced Excel skills and fully competent in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with automated accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics Navigator).
  • Also must have knowledge of internal control systems and financial audit processes.
