Job Title: Foreman (Building Construction)
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
The ideal candidate must possess:
- Should possess a minimum of an SSCE qualification
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Must be able to determine the best area to place the best site worker to ensure the efficient completion of the project.
- Must be able to evaluate site workers and determine how each employee can help accomplish the job of completing a construction project.
- Must be able to read blueprints, sketches, drawings and be familiar with building codes to ensure that the project is done correctly.
- Must be skilled in Leadership and negotiation
- Must be able to liaise with clients and co-workers
- Be able to work at a high standard
- Be detail oriented and positive.
Responsibilities
- Supervising sub contractors and other labour workers
- Should be aware and conversant on safety regulations and always enforces them, to ensure the safety for workers and equipment.
- Ordering and following up on site material deliveries
- Must be able to multi task manage high stress situations and resolving issues efficiently.
- Must also be able to manage the expenditure on the project.
- Must be able to perform all relater job task effectively and efficiently.
