We are currently looking for:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Job Location: Lagos -(Ref: IAL), Plateau -(Ref: IAJ)

Reporting to the: Head, Internal Audit

Responsibilities

  • Carry out audit of business units in accordance with International Auditing Guidelines and UACN laid down accounting/auditing policies and procedures and thus form an audit opinion.
  • Make appropriate and practical recommendations to unit management on lapses noted during audit.
  • Carry out special investigation/ad hoc assignments as may be required by management.
  • Assist management in the identification of risks inherent in the business and provide reasonable assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in place to minimize risks.


Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • B.Sc Accounting/HND Accountancy in addition to a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ICMA, ACCA, CPA etc).
  • 6 years post qualification working experience in a reputable manufacturing company.
  • Knowledge of risk and control environments will be essential.
