Description
Purpose of the Role

  • Assisting the Inventory and Logistics Manager in managing the Distribution Centre (DC) /Logistics operations.
  • Responsible for reporting of finished goods evacuated from the back of factory for both local and export sales in SAP.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational support to DHL (courier /distribution company) team on all factory transfer and Warehouse Management System (WMS) transactions
  • Providing daily and weekly reconciliations of all loadings (local and export) from the factory
  • Carrying out all WMS transactions as it relates to product transfer for local and export sales in SAP
  • Generating and preparing all relevant Inventory and Logistics Reports and circulating to all stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all production support materials such as trucks, pallets are available at the right time and quantity are provided by the Third Party Labor (3PL)
  • Supporting Inventory and Logistics Manager to drive process improvement in the DC/Logistics Operations.
  • Engage 3PL and other internal customers on performance, gaps, issues and causes.


Required Experience/Competencies

  • At least 1 years SAP experience particularly in the WMS area
  • Experience on Warehouse and Logistics support roles
  • First hand knowledge of the business processes especially the DC & Factory operations.
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Willingness to work over time including weekends
