Poverty and Associated Maladies Alleviation Initiative is recruiting to fill the following position:
Job Title: Project/M&E Officer
Job Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Project Officer will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with PAMAI strategy, commitments and goals.
- Project proposal writing
- Lead project planning and implementation
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Manage project budget
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Data quality assurance
- Monitor and report on progress of the project to Program Manager and relevant stakeholders
- Write reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any relevant discipline
- At least 3 years experience working in a similar capacity
- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- demonstrated knowledge in proposal writing
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Direct work experience in project management capacity
- Experience in strategic planning
- Fluency in English Language
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite and other computer data software
