The Federal Polytechnic Offa is recruiting to fill the following position:
Job Title: Director, Works and Services
Job Location: Kwara
Responsibilities
- The Director, Works and Services is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day running of the Works and Services Department and for implementing, on behalf of the Rector, the policies and programmes of the Polytechnic as they relate to Works and Services Department.
Requirements
- Applicant for the post of the Director, Works and Services is expected to hold a good Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or any other related engineering fields such as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution of higher learning plus, at least, 17 years cognate experience or a holder of Masters Degree in relevant fields from a recognised institution of learning plus, at least, 15 years cognate experience
- The applicant must register with the relevant regulatory body as well as be a member of relevant professional association
- Applicant must not be more than 55 years old at the time of assumption of duty and must presently hold a position not less than CONTEDISS 14 in similar organization or corresponding relevant positions in the Public Service
- The applicant must also be computer literate.
