My Client is a Major International Operator which urgently needs a Subsea Engineer for their deepwater project in Nigeria.

Job Title: Subsea Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Enhance Subsea equipment design and operational procedures to optimise safety, efficiency and installation time.
  • Prepare Subsea Program and Guidelines in line with objectives and Total rules
  • Develop and prepare Contingecy operations
  • Involved in project interfaces (SPS, Completion engineering) as required
  • Supervise the engineering/construction/repair/maintenance/testing works of contractors in line with Total Rules and interests, with full involvement in planning and follow up
  • Provide Subsea Technical Support to Subsea Superintendent(s) as required
  • Provide Subsea Technical Support to Offshore Subsea Supervisors as required
  • Ensure that lesson learnt are logged and implemented.
  • Occasionally supervise offshore operations on board drilling rigs or OIMR vessels for all new operations

Conditions Of Service

  • Rotation system :4 x 4 (possibility as resident)
  • Duration : Duration 6 months/1 year
  • Departure date : as soon as possible
