Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a world leader in FMCG household, health care and personal care products to recruit a Demand Planning Manager for its activities in Nigeria.
Job description
The Demand Planning Manager will oversee a division of Demand Planning (forecasting and inventory) requirements process and will be responsible for developing and executing Demand Plan and inventory plans that will enable them to meet sales and service objectives. He will have to interface with members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer support team to achieve these objectives.
Responsibilities
Consumer Promo Calendar and Approval Process.
Run the S&OP Process for the Business.
MIS Generation.
3 Months forecasting for all SKUs including exports based on secondary sales.
Service Fill Rates and Forecasting Accuracy
Calculation of Service Fill Rates (PFR/OFR) with reason analysis for meeting the company targets on a monthly basis.
Liaising with Supply Planning Team for Production and RM/PM planning inputs
Calculation of Forecasting Accuracy (MAD/BIAS) with reason analysis for meeting the company targets on a monthly basis
Qualifications and Experience
B.Sc / HND Engineering (Mechanical, Production) and minimum of 3 years relevant experience in similar role in an FMCG company.
In depth knowledge of Engineering responsibilities, systems and standards.
Commercial awareness – Understands the impact of Supply decisions on business profitability
Strong track record of delivery is critical
Must have experience in leading managing and developing teams, able to influence people of all levels
Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem solving skills
Proven experience in multi functional / multinational project management.
