Big Contractors was incorporated as a multifaceted company to provide a full range of engineering services in pre-construction planning, program management, construction management & general construction for the public and private sector in Oil and Gas (upstream and downstream) , Power, Telecommunication, Aviation, Marine and General Construction.
We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Project Manager (English)
Job Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall project execution, which includes establishment planning, schedule control, cost control, quality control, material control, information and risk analysis
- Ensure the preparation of project/construction schedules and periodic reports (progress, project costs, cash flow etc)
- Ensure time schedule of project is met within the allocated cost and budget
- Establishment and implementation of quality control plans and procedures
- Monitor progress and performance, identify potential problems and develop remedies
- Maintain control of costs related construction expenses
- Ensure that verification of bill of quantities and recommend for approval of invoices.
- Administer contracts
- Keep in close contact with subcontractors for all constructional activities.
Requirements
- Graduate Engineer with minimum of 3 years of field and project office experience
- Certified Project Manager (PRINCE 2/PMP)
- Working knowledge with common software tools (MS office/scheduling software)
- Team player with the ability to work with co-professionals from different nationalities
- Registration with a relevant professional Engineering body will be an added advantage.
- Not more than 35 years of Age.
