We are recruiting to fill the following position:

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Division/Department: Terminals and Engineering

Job Summary
The position incumbent reports to the Project Engineer and is responsible for planning and executing architectural, structural and civil designs for all buildings, installations, brick/concrete structures, roads and other infrastructure in company’s installations and retail outlets to company’s standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

Reports to the Project Engineer
Carry out survey and design for all civil works in installations/sites, projects, and other projects as directed and guided by supervisor.
Analyse survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, etc.
Prepare bills of quantity (BOQ), cost estimations and other necessary documents for tender purposes.
Develop project work plans and documents for approval of supervisor.
Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs as required.
Supervise civil engineering projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, standards and specifications with accompanying status reports.
Support shared services and other related departments for maintenance works on the company’s properties and assets.
Conducts standards checks in retail outlets, LPG Plants, VMI, Depots and Terminals. Checks should cover Environmental Health Safety and Quality (EHSQ), Look & Feel, House Keeping and branding and Stock management as well as supervision adequacy

Requirements

First Degree in Civil Engineering
Professional of Nigeria Society of Engineers or recognized equivalent
AUTOCAD working knowledge desirable
Architectural & Engineering Design Interpretation
Engineering material, costs & specifications
Oil & Gas Industry Dynamics
Engineering and Technology
Design Project Management
Creativity & Innovation
Organization/Administrative competency.
Relationship Management
Leadership/Supervisory
Team playing
Work Experience:2 to 3 years
