Strong Technologies - Since 1998, Strong Technologies l.l.c. has remained a major player in the satellite TV receiving equipment industry in the region. As at today, over 5 million households, in the Middle East alone, are equipped with a Strong branded product.

The group's activities are diverse and include manufacturing and distribution of products ranging from perfume to carbon fibre sports products, from oil supply equipment to fabrics, from motors to satellite TV receiving equipment and content.

Strong Solutions Nigeria is seeking for a highly motivated, customer service focused, self-driven, organized Salesman / Business Development Officer to join our team.

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Job Location: Kano

Responsibilities

  • The BDO will be responsible for building, maintaining and developing sales relationships with digital television receiving equipment dealers and distributors.
  • The BDO’s task will also consist of screening the market, proposing new sales ideas, representing the company in the region
  • Fulfilling dealers and distributor’s orders of satellite receiving equipment
  • Liaising with logistic department to check the progress of existing orders
  • Building a trustful relationship with existing dealers and distributors
  • Coordinating with multiple dealers to combine sales orders
  • Acquiring new dealers / distributors
  • Screening the market / competition and regularly update the management on new products, new competitors and price changes
  • Alerting the management on counterfeit products / bad business practices
  • Proposing new products to sell, new sales ideas
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments

 

Requirements

  • Highly motivated and dynamic

  • Charismatic and naturally persuasive
  • Person of integrity and trust
  • Ideally minimum 2-3 years of strong experience as a salesman
