Job Position: Head Premium Segment
Job Location: Lagos
Job Objectives
To plan and manage all activities relating to the management of the Premium Segment through the development and execution of a strategy that ensures maximum growth, market share and profitability for the segment.
Accountabilities
- Plan, develop, and implement a segment roadmap.
- Develop and ensure the implementation /communication of Key Customer Value Proposition(s).
- Align with product management team (Product Managers) in utilizing available products in targeted segment and agree on segment product needs.
- Collaborate with sales/channel team in strategic planning.
- Provide input and support in ensuring optimal: - Relationship Officer/Manager sales coverage - Relationship/sales management standards - Relationship Officer/Manager capacity across the Bank's branch network.
- Provide support in ensuring an effective products pricing framework for the segment.
- Oversee the segment budgeting process and periodic preparation of performance reports/analytics as a key basis for decision making for the segment.
- Provide support in planning, defining, deploying and tracking/measuring impact of segment marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.
Qualifications and Experience
- A first degree preferably in a science or quantitative course (e.g. economics, accounting, mathematics, etc).
- Possession of an MBA would provide a strong advantage.
- A minimum of ten (10) years cognate experience involving segment/product management within a consumer service industry preferably telecommunications, airline/aviation, etc.
- Experience in product management within an FCMG but with strong business orientation may also be relevant.
