We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Marine Service Engineer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and complete inspections and repairs within target times and without rework following all published procedures and policies.
  • Provide Technical Support to relevant staff and customers as required.
  • Ability to accurately carry out basic data collections and generate technical reports.
  • Undertake periodic training in line with skill requirements.
  • Ensure all OEM, Marine & Customer HS & E standards are met & enforced at all times.
  • Repair, service and maintain lifeboats and other marine safety equipment.
  • This position requires an individual with a positive attitude and a complete hands-on approach. This is not a desk job.

 

Requirements

  •  A degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University;
  •  Crane and winch operator with marine industry experience is preferred;
  •  Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools: Word, Excel & Outlook for technical reports;
  •  Bosiet Certificate;
  •  Medical Offshore Certificate;
  •  Mature, well-spoken and presentable;
  •  Selected candidate must pass a criminal background check.
