Leadership Group Limited requires the services of a Professional Photographer.
Job Title: Professional Photographer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capture images in an authentic and ethical manner
- Write copy, captions or headlines to accompany photos
- Use image-editing software such as Photoshop to edit images for print or online publication
- Pitch ideas for photographs to editorial staff
- Travel to photo shoot locations
Educational Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in mass communication, or any related discipline
Experience
- At least five years’ working experience with a reputable print media organisation.
Additional Requirements
- Be creative, with an eye for good images for capture
- Have excellent technical and photographic skills
- Have good communication and people skills
- Have good IT skills, especially with computer programmes such as Photoshop and other photo editing software
- Be commercially aware and good at marketing themselves.
- Ability to work under pressure and beat deadlines
- Ability to work without supervision
- Networking ability with peers and a comprehensive photo portfolio will be an added advantage.
