A reputable Construction company requires the services of the following position listed below:
Job Title: Structural Engineer (Grade 1)
Job Location: Any City, NG
Duties
- Prepare or check Structural Engineering calculations and Details of Structural elements.
- Guide less qualified Engineers and Draftsmen in the preparation of Structural Engineering Working Drawings.
- Visit construction sites periodically to ascertain the accurate implementation of designs.
- Attend management level meetings with the Chairman /CEO of the Companies.
- Coordinate with ether disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering Staff.
Requirement
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Peferably with a Structural Engineering emphasis.
- Minimum of 8 years extensive experience, including Designing end Supervising the Construction of High- rise Buildings.
- Ability to use AutoCad, Microsoft Tools i.e, Word and Excel, and the ability to obtain and use information obtained from the Internet.
- Must have experience supervising the work of less experienced Engineers and Technicians, as well as being actively involved in their individual professional development.
- Must be registered with COREN, and be a member of at least one Professional Organization, e.g. NSE, ASCE. etc.
