Quick Projects Limited - Our client, a leading brand in children’s fashion industry with a network of sales shops across Nigeria seeks to fill the position of Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate for this newly created position will take responsibility for production, distribution, and sales growth and reports directly to the CEO.
Job Title: Chief Operating Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead retail store business, production, logistics and distribution of the company’s brand of boys and girls clothing.
- Analyze trends in Nigeria children’s fashion Industry and effectively manage retail operations of all outlets in the country to achieve growth.
- Manage and optimize a supply chain logistics network with multiple distribution centers.
- Develop regional implementation of distribution using best practices such as systems integration and optimization, inventory control, and effective demand planning.
- Develop and execute strategies that will increase the company’s market share and profitability.
- Conduct sales analysis and initiate appropriate actions necessary to achieve strategic goals of the company.
- Ensure effective implementation of company’s human resources strategy and plans and maintain culture of high level performance
- Promote compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within retail stores, the production points and other company locations.
- Ensure effective maintenance of all company assets.
Qualification
- A minimum of a Bachelors level degree or equivalent.
- Good understanding of retail business and multiple store management.
- Strong leadership competence.
- Be within age range 35 – 40 years.
- Must be a team player with a passion to achieve target.
- Ten years management – level experience in retail business/store management
- Technical awareness of dynamics of Nigeria children’s fashion industry will be an advantage
