Job Title: IT Specialist

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • Accurately record, administer and manage life cycle of assets and software licenses through ICT asset management system.
  • Proactively monitor system security patches and malware updates to ensure accuracy and correct deployment.
  • Administer backup and recovery operations by maintaining and monitoring backup equipment and data.
  • Provide technical support and advice to other information systems team members and other technology users
  • Ensure the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any relevant field.
  • 4+ years' experience in similar capacity.
  • Experience with desktop operating system including windows XP, Linus, Mac OS X.
  • Knowledge in Nortel and Cisco data/voice and HP server hardware/OS a plus.
  • Good understanding of PC hardware/peripheral devices, standard operating systems (Windows XP/Win7) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Java, Oracle application development skills.
  • Database design, development and enhancement.
  • Project management skills.
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Self-direction and motivation skills.
