Job Title: Production Unit Director

Job Reference Number: PRO006PUD
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Monitor scheduling of personnel for all production activity.
  • Book freelance, vendor and studio facility time and processes appropriate purchase orders through accounting system.
  • Participates and supports new production efforts through handling audio visual equipment rental, booking and scheduling production sessions.
  • Assign announcers, schedule studios, arrange recording sessions, produce commercials, and direct programs.
  • Interpret documents such as scripts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Requirements

  • BSc/HND in Mass Communication, Public Relations or any related field
  • At least 3 years of related work experience in similar capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Knowledge of productions, graphics, digital formats and video footage
  • Strong coordination and multi-tasking skills
  • IT skills
  • Good knowledge of the production techniques in TV, especially News and business production
