Job Title: Floor Manager

Job Summary

  • Participates in the pre-production planning for their shift, collaborating with producers, control room, engineering, lighting and sets and props to ensure all production elements are executed smoothly.
  • Supervise setting out the equipment screens, chairs, microphones and technical gear.
  • Run sound and lighting checks to make sure that equipment are working properly.
  • Liaise with and producer and director and relay instructions between the control room and studio staff
  • Manage all live and pre-recorded studio productions, oversee and ensure technical checks such as sound, lighting and props and equipment are in place

Requirements

  • A degree in Media Production, Broadcasting, Mass communication or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in live and pre-recorded environment.
  • At least 3years of experience in similar capacity
  • At least 3years of related work experience in similar capacity
  • Understanding of television requirements and the positions of floor staff
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Time Management Skill
  • Understanding of TV broadcasting shooting flow Checking on health and safety requirements
