Job Title: Researcher

Job Reference Number: EDI008RES
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Source and research facts, figures and information using the internet, film and tape archives, specialist collections, picture libraries, museums and government departments
  • Contribute ideas for programs, source contacts and contributors and develop new programs ideas.
  • Collects audience data for the TV channel and its main competitors and produce detailed report to support the formulation and review of editorial plan.

Requirements

  • BSc/HND in Journalism, English, Public Relations, Media Studies or History
  • M.Sc. in a journalism qualification would be an added advantage
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a research team
  • Knowledge of advanced functionalities of advertising management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Organizational skills
  • Administrative skills
  • IT skills
