Responsibilities

Book and coordinate prospective guests segments, freelance vendor and studio facility time.
Work with the production team to develop ideas into compelling programming.
Write headlines and interview descriptions of guests’ interviews.
Conceive story ideas, interview questions, and elements for shows.
Research stories and guests and work to uncover new angles on stories.
Network with prospective guests and public relations representatives.
Communicate with news teams, senior producers, news editors, anchors, and operations staff regarding guests’ interviews.
Conduct pre-interviews and prepare the guest for their on-air appearance, resulting in a robust interview

Requirements

BSc/HND in Mass Communication, Business or any related field.
At least 2 years experience in both news production, guest booking and carrying out interviews.
Vast knowledge of the business and financial Industry.
Experience in interviewing analysts and c-suite leaders will be an added advantage
Good Communication Skills
Preferable PR Experience or Similar Capacity in other channel
Good communication, team skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced breaking news environment.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Suite
