Job Title: Ingest Operator

Job Summary

  • Assist production staff with scheduled and ad-hoc media ingest requests and with finding recorded materials.
  • Work closely with traffic unit on ingesting commercials.
  • Create and maintain consistent, accurate, and complete MAM database records of recorded assets and take steps to organize and process within the production workflow.
  • Ensure all inbound video and audio meets the quality standard

Qualifications and Skills

  • A 3rd-level qualification in the technical aspects of TV Production, or a related vocational qualification.
  • 3+ years working experience ingesting and handling media for post-production, editing, and delivery in a broadcast environment.
  • Experience working in media management and in support of digital archive environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with digital workflows as well as current broadcast production and post-production practices.
  • Organizational and Interpersonal Skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Time Management Skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
