Job Description
- The purpose of this position is to ensure that the filling line efficiency at the customer sites is maximised at all times, taking into account the current commercial conditions.
Responsibilities
- Inspection, repair, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of filling and packaging machines at customer sites.
- Record customer complaints and ensure the responsible personnel are informed.
- Support of customer staff regarding technical problems.
- Ordering of spear parts, with correct customer approval process, when required.
- Installation of filling lines as and when needed.
- Produce technical reports as and when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanical / Electrical degree or relevant trade certificate with at least 5 years in the packaging industry.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must have experience in filed service work and customer service.
- Proficient in MS Office min.
- PLC programming experience is preferred.
- Packing industry experience is preferred.
- Must have excellent electrical or mechanical machinery maintenance background.
- Additional language such as Portuguese / German / French / Arabic is an advantage.
Contractual information:
- Permanent position based in Lagos.
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Must be willing to travel internationally for training and business as needed.
