Our client a leading Telecommunication and Power infrastructure Services Company with operations across Nigeria and West Africa is seeking to recruit exceptional and highly motivated professional to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Manager - Transmission Line
Ref: OCL/PPA/PMT
Job Location: Any City, NG
Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling the project activities and handling the complete cycle of the project management entailing Planning, Organizing and managing resources up to final execution of project.
- Supervising all the Electrical, Civil and mechanical works involved in the execution of transmission line projects such as survey, ROW clearance, Civil foundations works, Tower erection and stringing works and associated Power Substation and commission.
- Planning, coordinating and controlling manpower and material for transmission line project execution.
- Coordinating with project office and other functional departments to ensure uninterrupted work from design stage to commission.
- Preparing progress reports for reviewing purpose to portray a clear picture/status of the work progress.
- Prepare Project Completion reports and obtain milestone and completion certificates.
- Uphold high level of professional and safety standard in line with best practice in transmission line.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc. in Electrical engineering and or its equivalent.
- Membership of Nigerian Society of Engineer COREAN and exhibition of core practical/technical skill in transmission line will provide a distinct added advantage.
- 10 years post qualification working experience in the design, engineering and construction of foundation, erection, stringing, earthing and commission of 132kv and 400kv double circuit transmission lines and in which two yrs must be at the capacity of Project Manager in a reputable transmission company.
- Proficient in MS portfdio, MS Project and PLS Card is a mandatory requirement
- Prospective holder of this position must have ability and readiness to work at of the country.
