Job Title: Senior General Manager - Marine Business

Job Description

To oversee the Marine and Offshore Operations Business with current fleet of 13 vessels and with potential to grow to 40 vessels in 5 years.
Will be responsible for managing the day to day activities (support and operations) of the marine and offshore interests of the company and provide feedback to the Executive Director regarding technical operations, administration and logistics, and management of the marine fleet operations.
The responsibilities include management of the marine strategic business expansion and acquisition of marine fleet, client services, crew management, technical, maintenance and commercial contracts management and ensure 90% availability of vessels and equipment.
The focus is on strategic, tactical, and long term operations management.
Create Business development / Marketing materials where appropriate to support the Business development / Marketing activities.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years (of which ten (10) years of specific maritime operations experience is mandatory) of broad knowledge and experience of technical marine fleet operations, management, operation of commercial vessels, shipping agency activities, vessel husbanding, cost control, supervision of personnel, repair procedures and customer relations.
A degree in business administration, marine operations or related field is required.
