Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Construction Business (Road and Infrastructure)

Job Description

  • Review and make necessary recommendations on client and contractor’s valuation and claims and assist with the preparation and clarification of payments with clients and contractors will all supporting documents.
  • Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations.
  • Review and record measure of work done, materials on site against delivery notes.
  • Prepare variations and day works, cost estimates.
  • Make input into the preparation of the final account and monthly financial statements.
  • Knowledgeable with quantification of materials related to and operation of Asphalt plants, Crushers, Quality control etc. Monitor contracts final cast estimates.
  • Liaise with departments in all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of alt contracts.

Requirements

  • Minimum B.sc/HND in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying and any related discipline.
  • He or she must be a registered Quantity Surveyor with NIQS Seal
  • Minimum of 10 years cognate work experience of which 5 years must be on road and highway Projects.
