Kerildbert Holdings Limited is a leading 3rd Party Logistics Service Provider of Shipment, Clearing & Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage and Procurement Services to blue-chip firms in the country.
Incorporated in 1988, Kerildbert integrates various services to enable it finance, collect, import and deliver (door to door) all kinds of products such as raw materials, engineering spares, finished products, in sectors ranging from FMCG to Oil and Gas.

The firm is currently looking for smart, hardworking and result-oriented individuals to fill the position of Clearing Clerk.

Position: CLEARING CLERKS

Job Reference: CC 02

Department: OPERATIONS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To open client files for clearing with adequate arrangement of files
  • To handle clearing process with customs from lodgment, examination/scanning, customs release to gate exit
  • To arrange client file in a specified order for final invoicing to clients
  • To carry out clearing activities within a set period of time as specified by Operations Manager
  • To give report and updates on every job allocated and in progress in his/her hands
  • To keep track of relevant routine information’s at the port and any other related place and communicate to the office accordingly

REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicant should have a minimum of OND in business administration or any related discipline
  • Applicant should not be more than 27years
  • Applicant should possess a minimum of 1 year experience
  • Experience in clearing is an added advantage
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good customer service skill
  • Excellent Communication skills (Both Verbal and Written)
  • Must have knowledge of the ports and ability to clear within tight deadlines 
  • Must be experienced in shipping, terminals and all documentation 
  • Must be able to work little or no supervision
  • Must have complete knowledge of clearing and documentations
  • Must have knowledge of the HS Code and Explanatory notes
  • Must be able to use helpers around the ports
  • Must have knowledge of pre clearing documentation
