Loesche Nigeria’s scope of work will include the following activities:

  • Preparation and supervision of technical repairs, modifications and upgrades
  • Audit of cement plants and grinding terminals
  • Operations of grinding terminals and complete cement plants
  • Preventive maintenance and planning
  • Management of required spare parts
  • Recruitment, management and training of employees
  • Management of operational stability and improvement-process, product quality, performance
  • Ensuring health & safety and environmental regulations

Loesche Nigeria's mission statement is to become a competence carrier for the Nigerian cement industry. It will ultimately be a process and operation-oriented subsidiary for cement plants and grinding technologies. Therefore, LNG is looking to fill following vacancy in Nigeria:

Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Role & Responsibility:

  • Primarily responsible for recruiting and personnel development of employees in accordance to the annual personnel planning
  • Implementing of all activities and tasks related to recruitment and personnel development
  • Implement und update Human Resources guidelines
  • Implementing organizational changes in coordination with the Office Manager
  • Checking job descriptions and processing job analysis as well as country-specific income benchmarks
  • Establish recruiting measures in accordance to recruiting process and employer branding strategy
  • Develop requirement profiles for the respective vacancies
  • Generate and publish job advertisements for Nigeria
  • Review and shortlist applications
  • Coordinate and hold job interviews in close collaboration with the responsible line managers
  • Draft salary calculations and employment contracts
  • Tracking of hirings to accommodate personnel and personnel costs planning
  • Analyse the company’s personnel development needs
  • Secure the continuous employees’ development
  • Coordinate and analyse personnel development interviews
  • Evaluate and organize of required training measures
  • Measure the participants training satisfaction
  • Prepare initial training plans for new employees
  • Review new employees’ performance during the first six months with assigned line managers
  • Support the Office Manager with the expatriate and occupational health and safety management
  • Secure a stable payroll accounting process
  • Prepare personnel data for the payroll accounting
  • Clarify questions regarding to the tax and social insurance law
  • Regular reporting to the Officer Manager
  • Comply with all relevant company and statutory environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines

Qualification and Requirements:

  • University degree in business administration with focus on human resources management
  • Several years’ experience in the cement industry or related sector in a position of appropriate responsibility
  • Confident manner in dealing with consultants and other partners
  • Profound human resources related knowledge in recruiting and personnel development
  • Good communication skills, an ability to work in a team and a confident manner
  • Very good MS-Office skills
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage
  • Business-fluent spoken and written English
  • Further languages skills would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel to various national locations
