Job Description

  • Carry out skilled maintenance works independently in the repair, assembly, alignment of mechanical equipment like exchangers, vessels, columns, boilers, structures and able to fabricate pipe work from isometric drawings.
  • To be able to identify piping specs, gaskets, bolt nuts, valves etc and able to carryout the work on all the piping.
  • Operates simple M/C tools such as grinding machines, drilling machines, impact wrenches etc.
  • Able to take precision measurement using depth gauges, micrometer, vernier calipers etc. and must be able to work to very close tolerances.
  • Prepares sketches/brief reports such as alignment, finished dimensions etc.

Requirements

  • 15 years of offshore experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Operator experience essential
  • Predominately Maintenance activities
  • Hands on experience is essential
  • Someone willing to get his hands dirty
  • He/she should be experienced in trouble shooting
  • Repairs on pipelines is more often than compressors or rotating equipment in general.

Terms & Conditions

  • 28/28 rotation
  • 1 year renewable contract
  • Day rate salary
