Introduction
Adexen HR and Recruitment services is looking to recruit infrastructural design engineers for Nigeria.

Job description
Reporting directly to the Head of Unit (HU), the infrastructural design senior engineer (SE) is technically responsible for infrastructural designs (road construction and services like water supply-, drainage- and sewage systems), their correctness and on-time delivery. The position requires thorough knowledge of (international) infrastructural design techniques.
The main mission of the position is to perform infrastructural analysis, layout and shop drawings.

The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Reporting to head of unit
Performs independent detailed design works very swiftly
Performs independent hydraulic calculations very swiftly
Performs independent setting out data (manhole list, etc) very swiftly
Is preparing design reports, approved by HU (internally)
Prepares Infrastructural engineering plans, design and layouts
Is familiar with international standards (for ex. BS, DIN, DEP etc.)
Infrastructural engineering calculations and project specifications
Shop drawings for road construction and services (water supply-, drainage- and sewage systems)
Supervising young graduate engineers.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Registration as ENGR with COREN is preferably
Holding a master degree will be an added advantage
Having a previous experience of about 8-10 years in infrastructural design engineering is also an advantage. Experience in Gas & Oil Industry projects is desirable.
Has a knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, (Primavera) and other common software in infrastructural design
Has good knowledge in relevant hydraulic and road-designing Software
Must be authorised to work in Nigeria
Is a self-starter with an aptitude to problem solving and can work independently
Demonstrates excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills
Must be fluent in oral and written English
