Job Description
- Document internal procedures
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end users satisfaction
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
- Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
- Assist with onboarding of new users
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
Requirement
- BSc. Computer Science or related discipline with extensive experience in a similar role.
- IT Professional Accreditation by Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft (MCP) etc.
- Significant demonstrable experience in Ethernet internetworking and Network Operating Systems and server hardware experience, in particular Cisco, Microsoft Windows and UNIX. Experience in helpdesk or technical support environment.
- Must Have (apart from the above):
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Demonstrable problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities.
- Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
