GWPF is seeking an experienced, tech savvy, and creative individual to support our Learning and Development program.  The person in this role will be responsible for assessing training needs, determining optimum learning solutions, developing and facilitating engaging training programs, and measuring and reporting impact and metrics.  The successful candidate will be passionate about end to end development and measurement of learning programs including global orientation, management development and other professional development programs designed to meet the needs of a globally diverse workforce.  The Manager will administer GWPF’s learning management system, and will serve as a subject matter expert in online and blended learning.   The Manager must leverage superior presentation skills to deliver live and remote trainings and workshops, must build collaborative cross functional relationships to coordinate effective training and learning programs, and must utilize analytical skill to ensure all programs are driving effective results. 

The Manager will interact with stakeholders throughout the organization to assess training needs, market and disseminate information about existing learning offerings, and provide technical support to users.  The Manager does not directly supervise staff, but must oversee and coordinate the work of internal stakeholders, vendors and consultants.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification and assessment of training, organizational development and learning needs and determination of appropriate performance support and training interventions.
  • Design, development and implementation of learning and performance support solutions including instructor-led, self-directed or blended training, end-user materials, facilitator guides, and web-based learning and content curation as required. 
  • Maintain and expand an active library of resources for professional development of global workforce.
  • Responsible for facilitating classroom and online training as required, as well as the sourcing and management of external consultants/vendors on learning programs and content as appropriate.
  • Manage and administer the learning management system, provide technical assistance and support materials for end users and other internal clients as needed.
  • Test online learning prototypes, support expanded use of the learning management system across the organization, support system upgrades and changes.
  • Develop standards and documented processes for working with the learning management system, and for tracking and reporting on learning activities and key metrics.
  • Initiate and manage learning evaluation data, and extrapolate in support of the identification of trends and needs in learning and performance support across the organization.
  • Participate in cross-divisional and cross-functional teams in support of learning and development strategy goals, leveraging learning technologies as appropriate.
  • Ensure that GWPF creates and maintains an active library of on-demand resources for the professional development of global staff at all levels
  • Monitor learning and development trends, best practice and recommend strategies and approaches to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and other key communication channels in support of marketing learning and development programs to employees.
  • As needed, perform the day-to-day training coordination activities to support the implementation and management training and development programs.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or Education, and a minimum of 3 years related experience. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the learning and development arena, instructional design practices, familiarity with principles of adult learning, and prior experience in the development of training programs and resources.
  • Experience in delivery and facilitation of trainings and workshops
  • Superb communication skills, including presenting to diverse audiences in live and remote settings
  • Superior technical skills, with mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems. 
  • Strong multitasking, time management and prioritization
  • Proven ability to build teams and work effectively as a team player in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to gain cross-organization cooperation to complete diverse duties.
  • Success in influencing and partnering with key stakeholders and other influential outside parties.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills. 
  • Highly organized and self directed.   Proven ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet critical priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and under minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to communicate complex issues across a multi-lingual, multi-cultural organization.
  • Excellent GIA scores.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred

  • Experience in managing blended and online learning initiatives
  • Experience working in an international non-profit organization
