Network Arewa24 Limited owners of AREWA24, a Hausa-language, free-to-air satellite television channel. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the below position 

POSITION : Creative Director

Responsibilities

  • Review scripts and rehearse with actors/actresses before filming
  • Oversee delivery from pre-production to post production
  • Manage the creative process from concept to completion
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
  • Be actively involved in hiring and training of artists
  • Add up creative ideas in the directing style of a drama series
  • Direct one or two episodes of a drama series per week. This may change in exceptional cases.
  • Participate in location, audition and casting finalists
  • Come up with budgets to fit the episodes he is directing

Requirements

  • Must have Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication
  • At least 5 years working experience as a director
  • Be focused and have an eye for details
  • Have good sense of imagination
  • Familiar with different camera's and how to use them
  • Be fluent in Hausa and English
  • Must be well organized
  • Creative and have experience in modern production technologies
  • Have good sense of production designs
  • Composed and able to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Be confident
  • Have efficient time management skills
  • Ability to work alone and in a team
  • Work with little or no supervision
