CONSTRUCTION
A State Government Agency engaged in physical planning and infrastructural development, is in need of the services of professionals to fill the vacant position below:
POSITION : Supervisor, Civil Engineering
Ref No: SCE/2015/02
Responsibilities
Assist in developing, evaluating and negotiating contracts.
Supervise and coordinate civil works.
Assist in supervising infrastructure and engineering /construction projects
Supervision of contractors’ compliance to standards, specification and drawings.
Report non-compliance to specification and standards.
Evaluation and assessment of work.
Prepare project reports for Management.
Qualification and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management with at least 2 class lower.
Minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience obtained from reputable construction firms.
A combination of training, education and experience in procedure and projects management practices.
Professional affiliation with a recognized professional engineering body including the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
Registration with the council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
Must be knowledgeable in CAD
Masters degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent could be an added advantage.
